Seat at the chef counter and watch the team flip charred bell peppers, crispy octopus, and medium rare Tomahawk above a smokey bed of real wood embers. Their homemade pappardelle are ribbons of joy, their cauliflower steak is the best I've seen in years, their boards are full of flavors and conviviality. Great atmosphere and fast service. Small but effective drink menu to toast to this modern Italian grill.

Victor was our waiter we enjoy every single dish. It was a Tuesday night so it was little slow but it didn't matter Victor made us feel special. Great food, congratulations to the Chef. Will definitely recommend.

Bruschetta? Fresh. Cacio e pepe? Unreal. Espresso martini? Might’ve had two. Last but not least...the RIBEYE...so rich and flavorful!Hearts and Flame did not miss A great and beautiful restaurant in the DTLA area!

I didn't know this place had been open for almost a year but stopped by and had dinner with a friend to check it out. The interior looks nice and clean. Very modern with an industrial feel. The food was really good. I had the Caesar salad, the tagliatelle bolognese and the hanger steak. All three were fantastic. However, the hanger steak was a little chewy but had great flavor. Our server was very helpful and came by several times to make sure that we were good. I definitely recommend this place for more upscale dining with big groups or date night.

As we walked into the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was modern and cozy, with soft lighting and elegant table settings. The aroma of the food wafted through the air, and we knew we were in for a treat. We also enjoyed complementary Champagne from the manager, she was greeting us in the front of the entrance. Definitely recommend .

Had dinner here tonight and it was amazing! Every staff member who visited our table was wonderfully nice and very helpful. The cocktails were really well done (tasted lovely and packed an appropriate punch). For food, we shared the branzino carpaccio (Branzino a Carpaccio), the mushroom pappardelle (Pappardelle al Gallinacci), the grilled prawns (Gamberi e Fagioli), the beef cheek (Guance di Manzo), and the honey cake (Mieloso). Everything was delicious! I would order it all again. If I had to pick among the savory dishes, I would say the prawns were my favorite. The honey cake is phenomenal, and a definite must-order. The indoor area is gorgeous and the outdoor patio is lovely (and well-equipped with heat lamps). Already looking forward to my next visit!
